Today (May 22), I drilled a new hole and planted OREGANO! Check out the latest pictures. I also reseed the keyboard with more grass and dirt.

The first sprouts grew on May 1, above the F6, 1, Y, 8, 3, and 6 keys; between OMXT; between AI; and between 4578 on the number pad.

My high school had a pile of computers, monitors, and keyboards lying in the back, awaiting garbage pick-up. I took a few keyboards with something in mind, I just didn't know what. Well, the idea has finally came to me in a glorious revelation, with a beam of light and everything:
A KEYBOARD GARDEN!!!
I'll update daily with a new picture. When it starts to sprout, I'll do something special, lol.
DAY 1-
Okay, I drilled drainage holes in the bottom and got it all prepped.
I rearranged the keys, lol.
Covered it with some dirt.
Seeded that muthafucka.
More dirt...
Then I finally added the life-giving substance known as water!

Day 11 (a.k.a. The Day of the Sprout)-

More grass is starting to grow in more places! And now you can actually see some of it!
Day 13-

I really like how this shot came out. This is also where most of it is growing.

Day 14-
The ubiquitous big shot, in not-so-ubiquitous low quality.
The number pad is doing well.
But this area is even better!

This was the most miserable Monday ever, lol.

The pieces I transplanted to the IBM logo seem to be living despite the lack of soil.
I had to take it inside to get a picture, lol.

Day 28 (a.k.a The Great Picture Update)-
Because it's every other day now, I'll give you a few more picture than usual!

Jajaja, Picture #69. Here's the overview.
I can see some of the grass splitting into different blades, so this thing will be very thick!

The weather here was all rainy; hace muy mal tiempo... Because of this, I'll plant more seeds Thursday so they get more sunlight. I'm also gonna put... nevermind; you'll find out. That's all for now!
Day 32-
Today, oregano was added to the Keyboard Garden. It sprouts in 10-20 days, so hopefully it works! These are pictures of the construction of the oregano area:
Apparently, keyboards are filled with candy! It's like a piñata!
Now what's this popping out here?
Alright. I sealed some holes, put in some dirt, and put some seeds in. Let's hope this works!
Afterwards, I put more grass seeds in this. I hope this will make it look thicker!

A bit more in the Number Pad would be nice.

This is a place in which I think think the grass will lift up the key sooner or later.

Day 38
Here's the bird's eye view of the whole thing. I really wish grass would grow on the bottom corners of the letter area...

So it's been six days since I've planted the oregano and new grass seeds. The oregano should come up in a week or so, and the grass should come up in less than a week, assuming it takes eleven days like the first seeds did. I hope it all works!
Day 40-

I wonder why the grass is doing so much better right above the number keys than everywhere else...

Day 42 (the answer to life, the universe, and everything)-
I did a whole ton of new planting yesterday.
Up here I put some trees. One is from an acorn, and one is from a helicopter. Curious indeed.

I hope the trees survive. They should, just not grow to be that big.

Everything is still growing good, and I can't wait to see how the new plants do.
Day 54-
It's been awhile since the last update, lol. I'm just very lazy with the pictures now. Alright, it's been VERY hot and sunny lately, and the one day I left it outside during school was the day it got the hottest, so the little trees in the back wilted, I'll probably remove them :( I'll put something else there sooner or later.
Yeah, it definitely doesn't look to happy with me. It's not my fault!
At least it's still all green!
Nothing yet in the oregano part. It probably won't grow...
IBM is dead.
The clovers are still alive. I bet they'll get really big, lol.
Don't expect an update for a few days. I promise one before Friday!
Day 59
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL JUST ENDED!!! Anyway, the weather has been more mild and it's rained finally, meaning the garden is great!
Keyboard Garden has been doing a LOT better!

Look at this stuff, especially the clover! Maybe I shoot 'mow' it?
Only the tree-thing to the far left of this section is growing, so I took out the others and replaced it with pines. They've been living so far...
Some of the blades look dead, but that's nature for you!
Finally! Some seeds are sprouting over here!
So much for the oregano, lol. Maybe this weed that has sprouted will flourish.
I'll try and be more consistent with my updates from now on. Every three days, okay?
